BACKGROUND
Kasey Noah Giorgio comes to us from the Northeastern United States. He is recently listed as living in Saint Johnsbury Vermont as well as Bethlehem New Hampshire but it appears he spent some of his youth in Florida. He graduated from Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach, Florida. Giorgio is 28 years old at the time of this writing – January 2021. His middle initial is also listed as “H” and “R.”

After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of “Kasey Giorgio” or any other variation of his name ever completing BUD/S Training or assigned to any SEAL teams.

Kasey Giorgio’s military records were ordered through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Due to his age, we filed with the Department of the Navy which maintains records from the mid 1990s-present.

This database was searched from the year 2009 when Giorgio would have been 16 years old, to the present. Each result was negative. Below is a typical result from 2011-2013 when Giorgio would have been 17-19 and represented the highest likelihood of when he would have served. If one were to search for 01/01/2013 – days before his 20th birthday, the database will look back for two years to 01/01/2011.

A search of Kasey Giorgio in NDAWS produced nothing. This reinforces that there was no Navy military service in the 2000s.

OTHER RESEARCH
In Florida, Giorgio was charged with Burglary of a Conveyance (2015) and plead guilty. He was arrested for Retail Theft and Driving Under the Influence (2013), so it appears there may be a pattern to his behavior.
This activity would be incompatible with serving as a Navy SEAL. At the very least, it would not set well with his command.

DISCUSSION and SUMMARY
There is no record of Kasey Giorgio attending BUD/S-SEAL training and no record of him serving with a SEAL Team.
The Department of the Navy was not able to locate any official military records for Giorgio.
If Giorgio has used these claims to gain anything of value – aside from the beer or obtaining leniency from a court of law – he may be in violation of the Stolen Valor Act.

This guy isn’t the typical faker shown in so many of these pages. He isn’t claiming seal status for unearned respect or glory. He’s claiming it to either scare pursuers or garner sympathy to get out of trouble. He probably doesn’t even know what a seal is. Maybe he saw another bum with a sign and thought he’d try it.
I tried to help a homeless guy a few years back with similar behavior. His story changed depending on who he expected to get freebies from. Sometimes he was a preacher, sometimes a master carpenter, sometimes a copywriter. I saved his life three times in one week; once hypothermia and twice starvation. He weighed less than a hundred pounds at 6ft tall. When I got him to an emergency room (finally) he had me stop and buy him food because “hospitals dont feed ya”, then briefed me what to say and not say to the ER people. Everything about him was a scam to get what he wanted that instant, with no thought to it at all. Eventually he got a welfare apartment and died a year later, unmourned.
The point is, this guy is probably an addict and mentally ill. Whatever he claimed was just an expedient means to some other end.
