Howard Paul Kilbourn – US Navy SEAL Sniper, Silver Star, Two Bronze Stars, Blog of Shame

03/01/2020 by militaryphonies

Howard Paul Kilbourn comes to us from Windsor, Colorado. Kilbourn is 37 years old at the time of this writing – March 2020. He seems to prefer to go by just “Paul.”

Paul Kilbourn – Facebook

On Kilbourn’s Facebook profile, it says that he was a “Former Warfare Operator NAVY SEAL at U.S. Navy” in addition to prominently displaying a U.S. Navy SEAL Trident.

Paul Kilbourn – Facebook

In another section of his Facebook profile, it reaffirms the U.S. Navy SEAL claims and says he was in the Navy from 1999-2008.

Paul Kilbourn – Facebook ‘About’ section

Then, under a Wiki site, it lists him as a Navy SEAL sniper in addition to a nickname of “The Reaper” and “The Devil of Afghanistan” which seems to be a twist from the movie “American Sniper.”

In this Wiki page, it claims he was awarded a Silver Star and two (2) Bronze Stars (valor). It also says he participated in the Battle of Ramadi and the Second Battle of Fallujah (Operation Al-Fajr). It also claims SEAL Team 3.

Some people were skeptical and asked Military Phony to look into these claims.

. . . . .

After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of “Howard Paul Kilbourn” or any other variation of his name ever completing BUD/S Training or assigned to any SEAL teams.

We could find no record of a Silver Star listed for Howard Paul Kilbourn at the following databases:

. . . . .

Kilbourn’s military records were ordered through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

. . . . .

DoN FOIA Results – Howard Paul Kilbourn – No Records Found

NOTE: Although the FOIA response letter says to contact the NPRC, Kilbourn was born in 1982 so the earliest he could have joined the Navy was 1998-2000. Considering at least a four year enlistment with associated BUD/S and SEAL training would have put him into the 2000s. So, the Department of the Navy would hold his military records if he had any and we saw no need to contact the NPRC.

. . . . .

DoD Manpower Data Center (SCRA) Results

NOTE: The DoD Manpower Data Center database was systematically searched from 1998 to present. Kilbourn would have been 16 in 1998 so there was no need to search for an earlier year. All results were the same and showed no active duty military service.

. . . . .

When trying to obtain Kilbourn’s official military records from the Department of the Navy (DoN), they could not locate any military records on him.

Since there are no military records to confer with, there would be no record of military training as a SEAL and therefore no deployments or military conflicts that he would be awarded the Silver Star and two Bronze Stars.

If the claims by Paul Kilbourn were used to leverage work, military or civilian promotions, or anything else of value, he may be in violation of Stolen Valor laws. State laws may also apply.

What’s your problem, your Mama didn’t give you enough attention? Were you born to kill or just born to lie? What an effing joke you are fixing to become. “Reaper” “Devil of Afghanistan”? Bwahahahahahahahahaha. You gonna see some reaping of this BS that you have sown. And the Devils of Afghanistan would be more merciful than your future. Can’t wait for the troops of TAH to start chewing on your sorry, lying, phony, POS azz. Gonna Suck to be you cowboy!

Let’s push legislation to mandatory removal of their citizenship and a one way ticket to a worn torn country

      • Who Cares? says:

“a worn torn country”? Do you mean “a war torn country”? I don’t much like posers, fakes, and frauds, in fact I’ve outed three (one can be found on this very website). As a retired 18A, and somebody whose spent a lotta time BOG in “worn torn” countries I’ve got four words for you “gunnee”: CHILL. THE. F*CK. OUT. So you want to change the US Constitution and strip a United States citizen of their citizenship because they’re a lying asshole? Then just where would that stop? OK, I know-how about kicking people out and sending them to “a worn torn country” because they dodged the draft and now claim to be a hyper-patriot American?

      • Gunnee mujahed says:

No I meant what I said worn torn country as for any draft I was too young to serve in Vietnam by 4 years or so the problem is global here stood a man with a shirt of a great unit one I could never aspire to be with. 75th rangers. It is a sad commentary of the state of all people. he claimed to have immigrated here and served with his limited English and successfully graduated? I served in a simply unit and was happy to be within my station, doing my part for a greater purpose. I come from a family of native Americans of the migmaw tribe. And language is both different yet similarly in words. Ahki in Spanish means here yet in Arabic ahki, spelled exactly means brother and gunnee may to the layman mean usmc,it is algonquian mimic for one who is outgoing

Phonies will never learn. Hollywood is just fantasy. Real vets can detect b’s from the start and the lies only make you look more like the fool that you are

      • Gunnee mujahed says:

I encountered a Spanish speaking man obese and short with a t shirt reading 75th ranger’s. He could only mumble seven five due to his lack of English. It’s sad to see what we’ve become. A migrant worker who saw a chance to b.s. this old grunt that I’ve become. Why? I’m happy because I got a chance to serve

      • Walter says:

Make him jump off the back end of a C130 at ten thousand feet

  7. Paul L Waldrop says:

Fyi the word jihad was truly a type error it was supposed to say I had a great time.

  13. Robin says:

The Reaper nickname might have come from the title of the following book “The Reaper: Autobiography of One of the Deadliest Special Ops Snipers.” This book is about SGT Nicholas Irving who served in Iraq and Afghanistan as a US Army Ranger sniper.

    • Grubby_Mittz says:

… Either that or the “More Cowbell” song by B.O.C from S.N.L. I can picture his hollow pointed head breaking out in a sweat every time he hears it. “That’s me they’re singing about!”

I visited the listed residence for Howard Paul Kilbourn this AM, and the place is empty, no one home. What’s the saying… “the lights are on but no one is home.” Windsor PD and the local FBI office have been advised. It appears as if they left the rental unit in late February. Kilbourn is on the run, apparently from lots of folks, based on posted notices.
