Claims: William “Pila” Chiles is a decorated Purple Heart Vietnam veteran with Fleet Marine Forces, Pacific, the Marine Corps elite Reconnaissance Unit, and survivor of a Top Secret experimental program in guerilla warfare. As a Recon Marine, he volunteered for the program which experienced more than a 50% casualty rate, among the highest casualty rates of the Vietnam war. He suffered PTSD and was in a straightjacket.

Chiles is a phony wannabe. His story is a lie and he is a liar.
Chiles, from those FOIA records, seems to have been a REMF, in the rear, with the gear, drinking beer while the regular grunts were in the boonies. Only once or twice does his MOS ever change from being an Admin Clerk (0141). He is a CON MAN, in my humble opinion. Some one should also check out that retired USN Captain, Arthur M. Osborne, who endorsed Chiles' book with such glowing terms and kudos. Birds of a feather, as the saying goes.

I would like to report about a Iraqi War Veteran named Captain Luis Carlos Montalvan.
He has embellished his military career.
He has written a book named Until Tuesday about his military career in Iraq and how there was an assassination attempt on his life.
His claims in his book was investigated by the the following news agencies and none of Captain Luis Carlos Montalvan fellow soldiers confirmed his heroics.
