BACKGROUND
Frank Justin Harwell comes to us from Odessa, Texas although on Facebook he claims that he lives in Coronado, California which is the home of SEAL Team One and BUD/S training. He also has the nickname “Frankie” and “Donkey Dick Donaldson.” Harwell is 73 years old as of May 2019.
We’ve been aware of Frank for some time. We have given him a pass because his claims are so far out there.
However, the problem is that Frank keeps using former Navy SEALs – Chris Kyle’s and Ryan Zinke’s photo as his Facebook profile, so we feel this crosses the line. He has done this before but he has returned to it recently.
Ryan Zinke was the former Secretary of the Interior. Here is his photo from Wikipedia.
On Facebook, Harwell sums up his claims in the into.
Then, Harwell will repost Zinke’s photo and repeat his claims, this time saying he was with SEAL Team 3.
Here is a post claiming he was a “stud Commander.”

This photo that he posted looks like him but the nametag does not seem to say “HARWELL” so we are not 100% confident it is him.
Besides the use of Ryan Zinke, Harwell used to use the photo of the late SEAL Chris Kyle.
He’s got other claims about playing football for the Naval Academy.

ACTIONS CONDUCTED BY MILITARY PHONIES
After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives, the Naval Special Warfare Center and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of Frank Justin Harwell ever completing BUD/S Training or being assigned to a SEAL Team.

Frank Harwell’s official military records show that he was in the US Army for two (2) years active duty. He was an enlisted Army Medic.
There are no Navy records that were provided on Harwell by NPRC.
Although he was in during Vietnam, it appears he stayed in the U.S.
Frank Harwell was NOT a Navy SEAL.
