James Henry Kapner AKA Jim comes to us from Fallon, NV. Jim makes numerous posts on Facebook claiming to be a Vietnam vet with boots on the ground.
Jim makes a statement that when he was a Navy SEAL he had no fear and was hit (eludes to combat related injury) and was in rehab for 3 years.
Once again Jim has to let everyone know that he was a Viet Nam Vet and a Seal, I think he means SEAL.
Now Jim insults a Gold Star Brother and claims he had boots on the ground in Vietnam and that lots of his buddies died.

Then on his timeline a friend had thanked him for his service. Another friend stated that they were told he wasn’t a SEAL and asked why he wasn’t on the SEAL database, is it because his covert status. And this TURD states Yup and he was on SEAL Team 5, bad news TURD SEAL Team Five wasn’t around then..

After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives, the Naval Special Warfare Center and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of James Henry Kapner ever completing BUD/S Training or being assigned to a SEAL Team.
James Henry Kapners records were requested through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
After reviewing Jim’s summary sheet his boots were not on the ground in Vietnam, no Purple Heart Medal (claims of being hit), no Combat Action Ribbon, no Vietnam Campaign Medal, no BUD/S and no SEAL Team. Jim did retire from the Navy as an E-6.
