Donald Paul Ritchie – Fake Navy SEAL

Donald Paul Ritchie hails from Fort Worth, TX.  Military Phonies became aware of Donald from his Facebook page listing himself as a Former Senior Chief Petty Officer (SEAL).

He lists himself as serving from June 19, 1970 – August 24, 2002 and being part of a Tactical Penetration Special Operations Unit.  We at Military Phonies are not sure what that means and we were going to google Tactical Penetration. Then decided not to because we were not sure what would come up, if you do Google it then remember to clear your browser history.   It shows that while he was a SEAL he was at Keyport, Washington, that is very interesting, I don’t recall any SEAL Teams there.

Someone on facebook questioned Donald about his SEAL claims:

Donald stated that he was with UDT-19 failing to realize that UDT-19 was decommissioned in 1945.

ACTIONS CONDUCTED BY MILITARY PHONIES

After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of Donald Ray Richie Jr. ever being a Navy SEAL or training to become a Navy SEAL.

Donald Ray Richie Jr’s records were requested through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

Donald’s summary sheet shows he was in the Navy on active duty from July 1972 until July 1979 for approximately 7 years with a few years of reserve time.  He left Navy as an ASM3 (Aviation Support Equipment Technician Mechanical) E-4.  I could of sworn that ASM had something to do with his tactical penetration which is NOT in his record.  There is no record of him attending BUD/S, no UDT/SEAL Commands.
