Scott Delbert Bessinger comes to us from Bowling Green, KY. Military Phonies was informed about Scott claiming to be a Navy SEAL, graduating class 151 and sporting a giant Trident on his baseball cover. Apparently a “real” SEAL was enjoying a late night meal at Waffle House (Americas best Restaurant by the way) when Scott was walking around with his Trident hat. A picture was taken of him that night with his cover on.
The Trident that is on Scott’s cover is to be worn on Navy dress uniforms, its NOT made for covers.
The “real” SEAL had politely asked Scott a few questions and Scott claimed he had attended BUD/s class 151. The “real” SEAL immediately contacted UDT/SEAL members with the UDT/SEAL database, at which time Scott’s name was not found in class 151 or the UDT/SEAL database. Needless to say, the “real” SEAL communicated his disdain for what the little runt was doing.
Apparently, that particular Waffle House was unaccustomed to the nuances of military lingua franca and instructional motivation. As a result, the “real” SEAL was dis-invited from partaking in their fine cuisine.
Scott’s Facebook page was located, how cute he is sporting the same cover?
ACTIONS CONDUCTED BY MILITARY PHONIES
After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of Scott Delbert Bessinger ever being a Navy SEAL or training to become a Navy SEAL.
Scott Delbert Bessinger’s military records were requested through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
Based on Scott’s summary sheet, he did just over 3 years, 2 months, 5 days of active service and 3 years, 5 months, 13 days of reserve duty. Scott was discharged as an E-3, Machinist Mate Fireman. No BUD/S, no SEAL Team.
It appears little Scottie must have slipped, tripped, or fell during his military service and was medically retired. Speculation on our part but we doubt the truth will ever come out of an embellishing liar like Scott Bessinger.
