After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of Anthony Joseph Cicola ever being a Navy SEAL or training to become a Navy SEAL.
Anthony Joseph Cicola’s military records were requested through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
Tony’s summary sheet shows that he served both on active and reserve duty and left the Navy as an E-5 after 6 years. On the summary sheet, it shows Tony being assigned to the USS Jason AR8, attending only Engineman Class A School and receiving the Battle E Ribbon. No record of Tony attending BUD/S or being stationed at a SEAL Team.
BTW, here is a photo of Tony on the USS Jason AR8 in dungarees, SEAL’s don’t wear dungarees.
