– Claims to have been Force Recon yet MOS 0321 is not listed. Only MOS in records is 0311 – Rifleman

– In his pics, he placed the Good Conduct Medal before the Bronze Star
– Bronze Star w/ V: not reflected in records and not listed in valor database
– Good Conduct Medal: Requires 3 years of good conduct yet Bustamante was discharged 1 month shy of 3 years and has a history of bad conduct (i.e. being UA)
– Combat Action Ribbon: Not listed on Manpower site as a CAR recipient
– 3 Presidential Unit Citations: According to NAVMC 2922, no units in either 1stMarDiv or 3rdMarDiv (checked the division records as well as the regiment records) were awarded a PUC in the 70’s
