Dave Cox served a total of twenty years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force.With an additional three years in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and the U.S. Army National Guard.
Below is a FaceBook screen snip of Dave Cox claiming that the clothes he is wearing are part of his ” combat aircrew uniform ” while he was an Air Force Master Sergeant.Also is the comment of Mark Lauer explaining to him how that uniform was never an Air Force uniform and that it was issued to the U.S. Army years after Dave Cox had retired from the U.S. Air Force.

The Freedom of Information (FOIA)release from the National Personal Records Center shows the dates of service, and the awards and decorations that Mr Cox attended,earned, and served upon.
In comparison to his claims on Social Media and what was released on his FOIA. They are completely different. Mr Cox did not receive the training to be a ” Combat Controller “. Nor does it show the Medals he would have earned if he had indeed served in Vietnam and/or Operation Desert Storm.His only overseas deployment was to Kadena Air Force Base, Japan.Mr Cox was first trained in aircraft maintenance and mechanics. He then trained in Administration management and Recruiting.
