  1. Greg Carson says:

please take a look at the FaceBook page “Ron Stone Stolen Valor,” and consider adding it to your list of phonies.

Poser Ron Stone has been lying about being SF with a DSC, CIB and Soldiers Medal for decades and has been making money publishing books based on his experiences in Vietnam.

He was outed by a group of former ASA/MI soldiers when he posted a photo on a FT Devens FB page wearing a Green Beret like a French pastry, a CIB, DSC and Jump Wings and called himself “the ole sarge.”

His official records were obtained and are posted on the FB page along with all the pictures and phony documentation he had posted on his own FB page over the years.

Last week a local TV station outed him based on the evidence our group had put together on the “Ron Stone Stolen Valor” FB page and can be seen here:

Please feel free to us anything we have post to the FB page and feel free to contact me if you need additional information.

This was our first and hopefully only “Poser Hunt” but seriously what was this guy thinking posting his crap to an ASA/MI group?

Maybe your site should take a moment and use the LEGAL DESCRIPTION of what STOLEN VALOR actually is so that true Military guys confronting NON Military folks know what they are doing instead of looking like an Idiot on line… The retards shown in MULTIPLE YOUTUBE videos walking up to people that are ONLY wearing the fatigues OR COMBATS with a damn ARMY T-shirt or regular shirt and start YELLING AT THEM ” STOLEN VALOR” needs to be stopped before they get sued or have their ass handed to them. STOLEN VALOR by LEGAL reference is as follows ” Stolen Valor Act of 2013 From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia LISTS STOLEN VALOR The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 (Pub.L. 113–12; H.R. 258) is a United States federal law that was passed by the 113th United States Congress. The law amends the federal criminal code to make it a crime for a person to fraudulently claim having received a valor award specified in the Act, with the intention of obtaining money, property, or other tangible benefit by convincing another that he or she received the award.

This law is a revised version of a previous one that was struck down by the Supreme Court of the United States in the case United States v. Alvarez for being an infringement of the constitutional right to freedom of speech.
