BACKGROUND

Oscar Rodriguez comes to us from Bridgewater, New Jersey. He has also spent some time in Florida. Rodriguez is 60 years old as of April 2019.

Oscar Rodriguez – Facebook

Oscar has made numerous claims across social media and other sites that he served in the US Marine Corps Force Recon and the US Navy SEAL Team III.

On his Facebook page, he posts some military bling that displays a Sgt of Marines, jump wings, and USMC Recon emblem. He also displays a Disabled Veteran license plate.

On his LinkedIn account, Rodriguez claims that he was USMC 1st Force Recon and US Navy SEAL Team III.

Here are the respective emblems from this page in full size.

In another section of his LinkedIn profile, the claims are repeated…

In a resume that he has attached to his LinkedIn account, he reinforces the military claims.

Then, a posted Facebook photo of a military serviceman jumping with a dog. He claims he did this as well.

He also has a photo of what he claims is his RECON team doing “SPY” (sic) extraction. The actual term is “SPIE” for Special Patrol Insertion/Extraction (SPIE) system.

It is quite an accomplishment to train and qualify for one special warfare group, but two across different services is almost unheard of. People got curious and skeptical and reported this to us.

ACTIONS CONDUCTED BY MILITARY PHONIES

After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives, the Naval Special Warfare Center and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of Oscar Rodriguez ever completing BUD/S Training or being assigned to a SEAL Team.

Oscar Rodriguez’s military records were ordered through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

DISCUSSION and SUMMARY

SUMMARY SHEET

Oscar Rodriguez’s official military records show that he was in the Marine Corps and was discharged as a Lance Corporal (E-3) vs. the implied Sgt (E-5) in the one plaque he displayed. He was a Field Radio Operator.

There were no schools, qualifications or assignments that showed Force Recon. No jump wings or scuba bubble badges.

However, he was separated and probably assigned to 1st Recon Battalion, which is distinctly different than 1st Force Recon. He was most likely in a support role as a radio operator.

There was no record provided to us that showed service in the US Navy.

He served for two years in the Marine Corps. Not the twenty he had claimed.

STOLEN VALOR

If any of these claims were used to leverage work or promotions or anything else of value, Rodriguez may be in violation of Stolen Valor laws. State laws may also apply.

Admin previous post should read Oscar Rodriguez, phony marine (sic) force recon/navy seal (sic). Major brain fart. It’s late and I’m old. Bi-focal crossed to wrong line. He’s still a piece of sh^t when tomorrow comes, but I’ll be awake and rested.

Rodriguez, you had an honorable service record that you could have stood upon for the rest of your life and been proud of that but you f***** up son!

Not only did you ha’ve the Green Weenie in the Corps, now you got the BIG DICK FOR LIFE!

Your family, your friends, your prospective employers, (If you’re even qualified to work meanial jobs?), people you associate with, neighbors, people at your church! This is on record for the rest of your life! Best grab you a tube of K-Y because that’s going to be your best relief from here on out!

  4. Sean Palmateer says:

As I travel through my day on most days, I have pleasant encounters with veterans from all services. Usually stopping to talk or at least commenting as we pass one another.

I REALLY hope I never meet one of these “ass hatchets” in person or I might just need bail money.

The dog must be so embarrassed but fortunately learned it had violated no laws by association.
