Robert Lee Jones  (Not the actor) comes to us from Las Vegas, NV.  Military Phonies became aware of Robert as a College Professor with the claims of being a Navy SEAL and someone that wears a mini Trident on his jacket.

After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives, the Naval Special Warfare Center and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of Robert Lee Jones ever completing BUD/S Training or being assigned to a SEAL Team.

Robert Lee Jones’ records were requested through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

So here is the screwed up part, Robert was a Marine with claims of being a SEAL.  Why not proudly wear the Globe and Anchor?  Why not be proud of being a Devil Dog?  Robert’s summary sheet show he serviced less than 3 years with the USMC.  Discharged as a Lance Corporal/E-3.  Robert didn’t have an MOS and he was AWOL on March 23, 1982, dropped from the daily roll call on April 23, 1982.. Robert picked up on March 23, 1983 and discharged the following day.
