Willard comes to us from the great state of North Carolina. It appears likely that he has been telling people for years that he is a Navy SEAL that served for ten years and retired as an LDO/CWO2.  Which is it David?  Thats two ranks.  He also claims that he was in class BUD/S 84 in 1975.   He posted these claims on Facebook.

Speaking of Jeeps. Check this one out. Take a good look at the hood of that thing. Totally legit.

Now comes the tear jerker. He posts a couple tributes to fallen SEALs on his page. One was “our” Commanding Officer at SEAL Team Two.

First off (spoiler), neither of the people he mentioned is listed as a graduate of SEAL Training.  I would also like to point out that if you Google “SEAL coffin” that picture comes up around number one.  It is the coffin of a famous SEAL sniper.

The next post shows an immediate family member explaining that David was a SEAL.

Another post with someone believing he is a SEAL. David goes with it.

Here are two posts where he describes his service and duty stations. Ten years active and six in the reserves.  He also claims to have been onboard when the movie “The Final Countdown” was filmed.  I can’t really confirm or deny that claim but I can tell you that movie should have broken the 17 million mark in theaters.  These posts are 7 years old showing he has been at this awhile.  He also claims the rank of CWO4 in this post.

After checking with the UDT/SEAL Database, we were able to determine that David Willard did not graduate with class 84 or any other class.  We filed for his records using a Freedom of Information Act Request.

David Wallard served under six years in the Navy.  He left the service as an AA, Airman Apprentice, or E2.  Looks like he did a Mess Management Course and then an Aviation Fundamentals school.  No record of any schools that are associated with SEAL Training.

He also talks about his service here.

From David Willard on FB messenger:

I am a 100 % Disabled Veteran for Asbestosis and Chronic PTSD. I carry a DOD Form 2765 ID. I was crushed in the early 80’s and was on massive amounts of opioids. My Psychologist and Psychiatrist are aware of my dillusions of being a Seal due to paranoia from the meds. If you have so much access to my military records you will see many letters to Command by guys I served with about my night terrors where I would sit and rip my finger nails out with my teeth and biting chunks out of my flesh. The last 38 yrs of my life have been a cutter and biters hell!. Mental health records are not classified but are protected. You don’t think I’ve felt shame and guilt? My Doctors are helping rid my life of all the things that were dillusions but it takes time!

Did he provide names of anyone alive? Using Chris Kyles coffin in his bullshit lie makes me😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
Maybe during his night terrors someone drives the Jeep up his ass….

Told me the same thing. When I asked how and when it happened this was his reply:

Between my 2 enlistments. I was under a transfer truck draining the air brakes. I knew I should have gotten the keys and locked the doors but didn’t. The guy got in the truck, why we don’t know but started it and backed it over my torso. My PTSD started early on in the Navy in Brunswick , Maine when a P-3 Orion from Squadron VP-8 with my best friend aboard exploded in mid air over Poland Maine. His name was Red Phillips. I was sitting on my motorcycle watching the plane take off on their way to an air show. When I saw the explosion I took off on my bike and bear first responders. I ran by reds boot with his leg in it, I knew it was him because of the red hair, he was laying on a chunk of the P-3, I went to pull him to safety but as I grabbed his flight suit his flesh just pulled off of his bones as I fell backwards out of shock he landed on me and his last breath was in my face and smelled like burning flesh and JP fuel.

Just how much time do you need to “rid your life of all the things that were dillusions (sic)?”

More spew: As well as what I told you in 1980 I was in a collision at sea aboard the U.S.S.Austin LPD-4 (You can Google images of the ship, I’m sure there are some with the bow caved in) while in repair they removed all of the asbestos from all steam pipes and exterior bulkhead. We were all exposed. I have spent most of this winter in the hospital with pneumonia, Sarcoidosis Asbestosis, Portal Vein Thrombosis I have been told my days are numbered and my 5 grandchildren are my concern.I went to that link and with all of the comments trashing me, my telling my story isn’t going to help a thing. I’m not going to spend the reamaining months of my life explaining myself. The reason both of my enlistment were cut short was due to Chronic PTSD and night terrors, seizures and my ripping my nails out and biting chunks from my flesh. I spend everyday preparing for my end of days. Have you ever made out a will? I never could have imagined they were so long and in depth. I can’t concern myself with people trashing me. My concerns are for one, is letting my Mental Health Doctors at the V.A.help me make peace with myself

What a asshole. I am dying a slow painful death from Polycystic kidney and liver disease and this piece of shit is crying about fake shit and writing out his Will? Makes me wanna rip his kidneys out and shove it up his ass…

    • Dan Johnson says:

Through what medium are you communicating with him? His FB is gone. Annnnd, he’s full of shit. He’s a guy that likes shiny shit.

      • Steve says:

Through Facebook Messenger. Here is his latest reply to me:

Me:When and how did a truck crush you? You said in the 80’s when exactly?

Him: Between my 2 enlistments. And Mental issues and seizures were why both of my enlistment were cut shortm

Me: So you’re saying mental issues and delusions are the reason you have been claiming for the last 7 years that you were a Navy SEAL and officer?

Him: No, it began between much earlier around the time I started having seizures during my second enlistment and got much worse while in Misawa, Japan the last last 6 months. At that time till now I have been on 8 mg of Xanax and other meds. 7 months after discharge was when I was crushed that a 21 year addiction to the Opioid painkillers Stadol and Morphine Sulfate started since then They have been using other pain killers off and on to get me to a stable point. I became reclusive and still am out of fear of any and everything. I don’t know why he suggested or why I fell into it but a retired Petty Officer 1st class told me to start wearing Navy Seal apparel and nobody would mess with me. I had never heard of Navy Seals until around that time but I did as he said and it spread through me like wildfire. In 2007 I was hospitalized for pneumonia at which time the found Sarcoidosis and Asbestosis and was treated for a year with prednisone which cause my weight to go from 230-495 lbs out of fear I became a complete recluse and that’s when I felt totally vulnerable and seriously globbed on to the Seal label. I thought anyone that saw me that big on oxygen would see me as an easy target. It has taken since then to get down to 280lbs. 2007 is when I joined the V.A. After several visits to the ER they sent me to Mental Health after reviewing my military service and medical records the saw all of the letters sailors had written to My Commanding Officers they sent me for a C&P exam and they the rated me for PTSD & Asbestosis Permanent & Total. We have been working on the Seal thing since.

Since the Aircraft accident investigation shows the plane flew for 8-10 minutes and crashed 30 miles from the airport I doubt he witnessed the accident from the airport. Surprise

      • tangomike147 says:

I would also like to point out that his description of the crash site matches the description given by another member of the squadron that toured the crash site. It was on a squadron blog page Almost word for word

    • Stephen Allen says:

Dag gum someone needs to get this guy some help. Not for the crap he believes. But so he can fix the mental health issue of lying all the time. AOC NAC/AW USN Retired.

  8. R Grace MEIHUIZEN says:

If I had his address I could send him a case of Amodium AD for chronic DIARRHEA OF THE MOUTH..
I bet his family believes the hero bullshit…

  9. JAMES STEDMAN says:

This clown is just a chronic liar.He explains his lies with more lies! He hasn’t the balls to man up to admit he lied to earn favor and respect for achievements that never happened. Shameful!
