Since this exposure has been published Mr Robert Allen Martin has shut down all of his groups except one. The NAM. Only this morning the name was changed to ONLY BOBBY’S THE NAM.
This facebook group has it’s settings turned to secret. So it won’t open up for most.
He has also deleted all of the Facebook accounts that we have posted on this blog and started two new ones. James Cambell and Paul Lynn which we are 100% postive that they are Bobby Martin hiding behind fake names. He also has Myrna Tucker as an adminstrator and Olen Ridling as a moderator in his group. We haven’t figured out why these two are still following him even after being presented with all of the evidence on record. We have a saying though that some will follow the POSer’s lies to the grave.
Shortly after Bobby Martin made these two new fake profiles, One of the admins makes a comment that Bobby Martin had passed away.
Since then there have been posts made in the group that they plan on keeping Bobby Martins legacy by keeping the group up and running.
Everyone kept asking where they could send flowers, cards etc..etc.. They were told that Bobby led a private life and didn’t want anyone to know. Of course this brought suspicions to members of the group. So today they made a post with photo’s attached that were suppose to be Bobby Martin’s funneral.
The newsandsentinel is a newspaper in Parkersburg West Virginia. Bobby Martin has now stolen the images of another fallen hero and is using them to fake his own death. There is no evidence showing that Bobby Martin passed away on Dec. 26, 2017. There is plenty of evidence showing that he is faking this demise. We don’t know how much further and lower Bobby Martin and his loyal followers plan on taking this. Or why he is even doing it at all. We will keep everyone updated as time follows.

Upon further investigating into who the fallen hero who’s photos that Bobby Martin has stolen in order to fake his own death, It was discovered that the photo’s are those of Spc. David A Hess who was Killed in Action due to an improvised explosive device detonating near 25-year-old U.S. Army Pfc. David Alan Hess’ patrol unit. Hess died Oct. 10, 2010 from injuries suffered in the explosion.

Robert Allen Martin from Parkersburg WV has built himself a very large following on FaceBook.
He started a couple of facebook groups with titles such as The NAM
and WARRIORS OF THE NAM
Inside these closed groups on facebook he claims that he is a retired “Captain” from the United States Navy and went to Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL training (BUD/S) class# 42 which he claims graduated in 1962.
He constantly makes posts and shows stock photo’s from Vietnam claiming they are photo’s of him in country. Below are a couple examples.
It was perhaps this post that made people to start doubting Bobby Martin’s story.
To make his story even more convincing Bobby created a fake FaceBook profile under the name of John Burch
Under that account he claims that John served under him and both of them went to BUD/S class# 42 in 1962
Photo below Bobby Martin makes the claim that it is John Burch receiving a battlefield commission from enlisted to officer.
The photo is actually Lieutenant Melvin Spence Dry, who was a Navy SEAL that was killed in action in 1972 while leading a rescue effort in North Vietnam to free U.S. prisoners of war. He was the last Navy SEAL killed in Vietnam.

In the same post/photo Bobby claims that John Burch had a split service. John was supposed to have been a Staff Sergeant in the US Army Rangers prior to attending BUD/S class 42 in 1962.
By this time a couple actual Vietnam Veterans had seen enough. So one Veteran (Zippo) who has worked with us before on Stolen Valor cases contacted one of our investigators by Facebook concerning Mr Martin.
Our investigator started digging into Mr. Martin’s background and soon discovered that Mr. Martin lived close to him. Although Mr. Martin tried to hide his location, he had left plenty of evidence showing his location. We won’t go into detail on this discovery but we are absolutely certain we have the right person.
Actions conducted by Military Phonies;
After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives, the Naval Special Warfare Center and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of Robert Allen Martin or John Burch ever completing BUD/S training or being assigned to a SEAL Team.
It was also discovered that BUD/S class # 42 did not graduate until 1968. Mr Martin’s claim is off by six years.
Using this information and the information conducted by one of our investigators, Military Phonies filed for Mr. Martin’s military service record using the privileges provided under the Freedom Of Information Act. (FOIA) The results are as follows
We weren’t surprised to find that Mr. Robert Martin (Bobby) never served in the United States Military.
Mr Martin has already been notified about his lies on Facebook. He not only blocked our investigator when he was notified, but he also kicked most of his admins from his groups when they confronted him. This all occurred in Nov. of 2017. Mr. Martin then made another fake Facebook account under the name of ” Roger Stone “. Since then he has claimed that Roger Stone and John Burch are in control of his Facebook groups. Our eagle eye investigator noted that Bobby Martin had made a post back in 2015 that Roger Stone was deceased and that Roger Stone served with him in Vietnam. Roger Stone was supposed to have earned ” six ” Bronze Star Medals.

Summary and conclusion;
With all of the evidence and information gathered by our investigators and sources which all wish to remain anonymous. We can confirm that Robert Allen Martin (traceable address) nor John Burch and Roger Stone (untraceable addresses) were never US Navy UDT/SEALs. He/they also never deployed in support of the Vietnam War.

These people pretending to being veterans are sick in the head, we are also fortunate enough that our Federal Government has a law which can be used to prosecute those idiots pretending to being veterans. They usually get a fine but their is provision in the law to give the offender a prison sentence. Many of us would like to see that law changed to far larger fines and greater prison sentence because it’s still not acting as a deterrent to their lying.

I just don’t get why. To just claim you are a vet when you are not is wrong. This even crosses that line he stole a hero’s identity he needs to be at least prosecuted for this or just give us his address!

I messaged about 20 people who post on his pages, and told them about this. They responded, and are shocked. They all thought he was this amazing veteran, they all thought he was an old-time SEAL. Not anymore 🙂
Wow. After reading everyone’s comments about this as well as having read all about señor turd, I really feel ill as it’s my humble opinion that shit stains like this cat ought to be prosecuted according to the Stolen Valor Act. What the hell happened to that? Did everyone just decide to go soft all of a sudden? Geeze, wake the hell up people. I’m wondering if this guy has managed to Buffalo his way into receiving any undeserved and unearned benefits from the VA or any other organizations. Seems that there’s some more work to do here.
This guy is really minor league when it comes to stolen valor, check out my brother on this site, David “Doc” Shrum. He has been scamming the VA out of over $3K a month for many years and he never served a day in combat! I wish we could deport all of these stolen valor idiots to the middle of Syria and see if they can fight their way back home. The phony SEAL’s and Rangers really piss me off, they are pissing all over the brave men and women who actually did go to combat and risk their lives and some who gave their lives. I was in the U.S.A.F. 1969 / 1973 , worked the radio shop , on B52’s and KC135’s wonder how this clown would like being told . ” How many people did you kill ” when going for a job. Claims he died of a massive Heart Attack on Dec. 26,2017. One of his new sock puppet accounts posted in ” The.Nam.” this morning of what is supposed to be Bobby Martin’s funeral. complete with photo’s of a flag draped coffin leaving the funeral home under a PGR escort. They left out the part thar everyone in the photo’s is in summer attire. It’s been below freezing in the Ohio Valley since before Christmas. I have been watching the post on the Nam site. I noticed that Paul Lynn spells the word secret (secrete) just like Booby Martin. There are 106 James Campbell’s in Montana. Not One James Cambell, Who is now the admin. He claims to live in Missoula, Montana. He has no FB Friends, Myrna Tucker has no FB Friends or personal info. James Cambell also has no FB Friends. I’ve suspicioned they are all the same person.

I know how you feel, I have a brother, David “Doc” Shrum who likes to pretend he was a combat medic! You can read his story on this site. The rat bastard never spent a day in combat, he sat in a clinic and made false teeth all day! To top it off, the scumbag is getting over $3K a month for his phony 100% false PTSD disability! I have been trying to get him arrested for over 2 years now, but the VA won’t even look at his phony records! I served with the 140th Signal Battalion as a crypto repairman. Yes, we all had a job to do!
