Steve Edgell, US Army Ranger, Special Forces Weapons Sergeant, Blog of Shame

Steve Edgell comes to us from Clarksburg West Virginia. Where he is telling everyone far and wide that he has been called to his MEPS station in order to retake the Oath of Enlistment because of a “covert operation” that he is being deployed for.
Mr Edgell was texting one of our sources where he was claiming to hold the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSG)(E-6) and could be called up for active duty because he still has 3 years ” Inactive duty ” He then goes on to say that he was deployed to Mogadishu in 1993.
Claiming to have been assigned to the 75th Ranger Battalion and to the 3rd Ranger Battalion.
Mr Edgell spreads the news even more by making a post on his high school classmates FaceBook page.
It appears that his biological brother had seen enough and decided to speak up.
In his defense, Mr Edgell posted a copy of his Kentucky drivers license displaying the word ” Veteran” in the upper right corner of the photo itself. He claims that you can’t get that without showing a dd-214.
Claiming that his MOS is 18B. Which is the MOS for Special Forces Weapons Sergeant
Again, Claiming combat veteran from Mogadishu (1993) and being assigned to the 75th Rangers.
Actions Preformed by Military Phonies;
We first conducted a single record request at the website Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) We used the date of Oct.4, 1993 as the date of Mr Edgell’s active duty service. The results were negative.
Military Phonies then filed for Mr Edgell’s military service record using the privilege of the Freedom of Information Act. (FOIA) The results were the same. No records found.
Summary and conclusion;
Unless Steve Edgell can produce documented proof of his serving in the Army and being part of the Battle of Mogadishu or being a tabbed Tabbed Ranger. Or his claim of being a 18B Special Forces Weapon Sergeant We have no other choice but to declare Steve Edgell from Clarksburg West Virginia a Phony Combat US Army Ranger/ Special Forces Weapons Sergeant.
I find it strange that a soldier claiming to be called up for a covert operation would be telling everyone where he is going.If his own brother called him out for his bullshit he most likely has a history of telling tales. Pity the fool!
Well, it’s one of those Top Secret missions that can only be talked about freely, and in the open all over social media ad nauseum.
You know the drill; “we’re taking off at 0630. We’re attacking their supply lines at Milkbone. We’ll be hitting them with mortars first, then heavy bombardment from A10s out of the east, followed by infantry in company strength. But I can’t tell you what my name is; I’m classified”.

Of course, his military information does not exist. Don’t you know all covert operatives have their profiles scrubbed? There is no record of my particular double top-secret missions with the 85th NY Regiment in 1862 in Antietam, and with the Big Red One in Cannes in 1918. And my missions in 1942-45 deep behind enemy lines in Tokyo and Berlin still do not ‘officially’ exist. Notice how nobody knows who shot down Gen Yokohama? I’m wondering how the state of Kentucky issued him a veteran status on his license? Forged DD214? And if so can anything be done about it? He has actually stolen my medals I earned from the Army and wore them on a JROTC uniform. And has stolen different things from my dads Vietnam military career!
How do you know that he just didn’t photo shop the word “veteran” onto the license after taking the picture.. And donr you have. so long to.change your license after you move.. Shouldn’t he have a West Virginia one now. You can always google information and pictures of these things on the internet. I would be contacting legal aid and ask if there is something that you could do since he stole those items from you.

Believe me, I feel your pain regarding your lying sack of shit brother, just search for David Shrum on this site and you will know what I mean. I have been trying for over two years to get my brother arrested and put in prison for all of his fraud and lying bullshit, but the VA won’t even listen to me while they keep paying this asshole over 3K a month for his phony PTSD! I wish we could get all of these phony ass ponies put in prison where they belong! Thank you for your service!

So I found out that he was given this veteran status from the state of Kentucky and they never asked him for proof of military service! They just took his word for it!
