Gene Edwards – Fake Navy SEAL, Fake military service, Fake combat veteran and Fake being wounded in combat.

Over the years numerous Fake Navy SEALs, Marines, Army, etc.. have been exposed for various reasons but this one was extremely egregious. Gene Edwards came to the attention to Military Phonies by way of Social Media. Gene started a Facebook page called BEARER OF THE TRIDENT which has since been deleted by him. In Gene’s posts he states “I was LTJG Gene L. Edwards and I am a former US Navy SEAL who served with a unit of SEALs.”
He then adds “I’ve been shot, I’ve been stabbed, I’ve had shrapnel blown almost right through me… I’ve watched as my CO was shot in the head – his brains splattered across my lap: I desperately tried in futility stuffing the intestines of my friend back into him with my hands after his abdomen had been shot open. I carried one of my men over my shoulders for nearly ten miles to an extraction while being pursued by the enemy hostiles. One by one, I’ve buried my teammates, my brothers, until there were only a few of us left.”
That was an amazing story, oh did we mention Gene is an author? A few sentences later he writes “While I have never denied my role as a SEAL, I generally don’t announce it: there aren’t many frog men who would.” Well Gene you have announced it both on the facebook page Bearer of the Trident and your personal facebook page, oh and to your family and friends, other than that you never announce it…
In another post in BEARER OF THE TRIDENT Gene spoke of the loss of a friend former Navy SEAL Rob Guzzo, he later speaks of having a conversation with Marc Lee (first SEAL killed in Iraq) at Guzzo funeral. Marc Lee was later killed in Ramadi. Hard to image such stories could be posted without knowing the damage it causes Gold Star family members.
Gene has since deleted all facebook accounts but we were able to screen shot his facebook page.
In Gene’s posts, he has a Trident in his wife’s hand receiving praise from family and friends.
You can never go wrong with an ugly green Trident just to remind everyone of what you say you are even though you don’t announce it.
You can never go wrong with a forged Navy Honorable Discharge from NSWG-2. NSWG-2 doesn’t give out discharges.
Gene was discovered by a few SEALs at which time they made contact with Gene.

After contacting the UDT/SEAL archives and checking the UDT/SEAL database we found that there is NO record of a Gene L. Edwards.
Gene L. Edwards’ records were requested through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
DISCUSSION & SUMMARY
Even thought Gene admitted he was never a SEAL, records showed that Gene NEVER served in the military, was never a US Navy SEAL, and he’s never seen combat. He now has to live with the fact that he has truly disrespected all military service men/women, SEALs and Gold Star family members.
I can not for the life of me understand why anyone would feel the need to pretend they are something they aren’t. If someone has that much respect for those who have served in the military, why would you make a mockery of their service by pretending to be a SEAL or any other type of military veteran. It’s just disgusting, and frankly, quite sad that there are those out there whose lives are so empty, that they have to pretend to be one of our military heroes.
This clown claims that his co-workers, family, and friends are not under the impression that he was a real Navy Seal. yet he threw it all over his Facebook page and received the accolades of those very same people for his phony service. Lying liars lie and this clown will probably continue to lie.

This asshole looks more like a walrus than a Seal! I hope he gets what he wants and is dropped off in the sea about 20 miles out, then see if he can swim back to shore? They should be forced to do the things they have claimed to have done!!!
