BACKGROUND & CLAIMSDAVID LAWRENCE CORSO Dave Corso and Bobby Joe Fannin were interviewed as part of “Project Camelot” back in 2007. In this interview, Corso claims he was the “best Marine Corps sniper in Vietnam” (mark 00:18). Although he was officially listed as being in the US Navy, he claims that he was recruited to go into the U.S. Marine Corps, trained as a sniper and participated in “Black Operations” going on secret missions in Vietnam and Cambodia. He claims he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6) in the United States Marine Corps (mark 13:00). His memories of his work in Top Secret Black Ops projects were wiped (mark 13:28).
Corso was featured twice on the Jesse Ventura’s show “Conspiracy Theory”. Fannin claims that when he was 12 years old, he and his team of child super soldiers were called to duty in order to rescue both a Navy SEAL team and a Marine Corps Recon team that were pinned down in Cambodia in 1972. Fannin gets all choked up as he recalls himself and 11 other children exiting the chopper. He was the team leader. He and the other children locked hands and formed a semi-circle. They then killed every Cambodian soldier within 20 miles with the combined effect of the psychic power generated. He further claims that these are not his words, but the words of both a Navy SEAL Captain and a Marine Corps Reconnaissance Captain that were rescued. NEWSPAPERS & OTHER HISTORICAL MEDIADAVID LAWRENCE CORSO David Corso was born in 1941 and entered the US Navy in June of 1959. At that time, he lived in Parker, Pa. According to the Kittanning Simpson Leader Times on June 9, 1959 he was placed on probation for larceny.
Corso was declared eligible for the draft when he turned 18 y/o in Jan of 1959. Did the charge of larceny force him into the Navy as part of a plea deal to avoid jail time or was he scheduled to go into the Navy that month and the crime was just a coincidence and unrelated? On August 5 and August 11, 1965 the local paper carried news of David Corso during his time in the Navy due to his ship, the USS Rowan, being cited.
Then, on August 6, 1969 a newspaper called The Derrick in Oil City PA published a clip looking back ten years and mentioned that David Corso joined the Navy. No mention of the U.S. Marine Corps. ….. BOBBY JOE FANNIN Bobby Joe Fannin was born in Johnson Kentucky in 1960. According to his family, he had an active imagination and dreamed of black helicopters coming out of the sky. It does not appear that Fannin legally changed his name to Robert Duncan O’Finioan. He did write a book called “Innocence Turned Deadly” under the pen name of Robert Duncan O’Finioan. His real name is on Page Two of the book. It was later removed on a revised edition of the book. The story goes that Fannin tried to sell the book unsuccessfully as a work of fiction. When this proved difficult, he decided to promote the book as non-fiction biography, touring the country telling the stories and maintaining they are true. He dropped the “Bobby Joe Fannin” on page two in a later revised version of the book and the pen name stuck. SUMMARY AND DISCUSSIONBasically, these stories put forth by Corso and Fannin are brilliant from a story-telling standpoint. They are difficult to disprove and sets up the story teller as being in full control of the narrative. Disproving is made even more difficult when there is a receptive audience – one that truly wants to believe it. Corso claims he has no records of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps due to the super secret nature of the “Black Operations”. Well, there are secret missions but there are no secret service records. The same is true of Fannin. He claims he was in Cambodia and Vietnam as part of “Project Talent” and was a child soldier. Therefore, he had no records or a service number. His records have been filed for again with more information but he has already stipulated that he will not have military records. Again, there are secret missions but there are no secret service records. This is worth repeating – there’s no such thing as secret military service records. If both of these men were fighting for our country in Vietnam, it would have been in their official military records. They show that Corso was on a ship and Fannin never served. Similar stories about super soldiers and erasing someone’s memory were covered in the movie “Jacob’s Ladder“, also about Vietnam. Tim Robbins played a U.S. Army soldier that was part of a super secret program to create super soldiers. Their memories were erased only to have them slowly came back to them later through reconstruction. The storylines put out by Corso and Fannin also mimic “The Long Kiss Goodnight” and “The Bourne Identity“. Fannin himself said he could not get through “The Bourne Identity” as it was too painful for him. Then of course there are also elements of “The Manchurian Candidate” (1962) and the remake “The Manchurian Candidate” (2014). Fannin speaks of going to DC in 1987 so do a “termination job” on an individual (mark 46:40) in 1985. He then goes on to say that in a Mexican restaurant he saw George W. Bush (mark 46:55). Bush, who was then governor of Texas, later became the President of the United States. Upon seeing Bush, Fannin claims he “had one impluse – kill him”. Fannin goes on but has morphed a bit into the supernatural world. He is all over YouTube with different supernatural theories and seems to have a following. Fannin cut his teeth on the story of being a child super soldier, however. Here is a more recent photo of him at the “Walk in Two Worlds” in Sacramento in 2012. He seems to have bleached his hair. More recent photos have his hair color restored to its natural color.

It appears that some people actually get their own TV shows after failing to successfully promote their self-published books. Billy Brown of the show Alaskan Bush People on Discovery Channel also wrote a book full of lies about his past, which he somehow convinced a production company to turn into a ‘documentary’. Now he’s on TV every week with his family, acting like fools, pretending to know how to live in the wilds, and insulting real Alaskans in the process (the Browns don’t really live there).
It appears that lying about yourself is the route to fame and fortune these days. Bobby Joe Fannin and David Corso got on Jesse Ventura (Corso more than once) based on their lies, and it made comedic entertainment for intelligent people who saw through the BS. For the less-than-intelligent, it was confirmation of all their imaginings.
These people get paid good money to go on these shows. I don’t know what Fannin and Corso got, but it would be in the thousands per episode.

You are so sadly mistaken in your self-proclaimed brilliance that you state that there are no secret warfare records of Black-Operations, and that a person’s military records will show all he or she has done. They are called Black Operations for a reason, no one outside of the Pentagon will ever know all of any one Black Op, The men and women in the operation do not know all the working parts, only the officers in charge do.
I know of black operations, I have friends that have been involved in them, and there are records, but you nor any civilian or LEO will ever see them, not even a Supreme Court Judge will see them ever. You have to possess one of the highest DoD security clearances to view specific parts of the records and you are not allowed to have a paper copy, you are not allowed to be in the area where files are viewed without a security detail of Marines, armed, and ready to blow your head off if you so much as try to copy, export, transmit, or otherwise get the information out of the area.
Secondly you seem to be very unaware of NSA and CIA black operations during the Vietnam War as well as WWII, and Korea. Are you just stupid? Or do you not know enough (IE Research) about Psyops, remote viewing, astro-projection. Do you even have any clue what Einstein’s theory now proven many times over is, or has to do with the bending of time?
I am an Electronics Engineer, and I for one have firsthand knowledge of some of this technology, and the various projects it has been applied to.
You need to pull your head out of your butt and learn to research and I don’t mean stupid little paper clippings. Learn what you are trashing, or as an old southern relative used to say, “Start your brain before you engage your mouth, or someone will mistake your mouth for your ass”.
What he is saying is that no ones SERVICE records are classified. If someone was in the U.S. Marine Corps and did highly classified operations (the kinds warranting the overblown secrecy you speak of) you would still be able to pull up their record stating they were in the Marine Corps. Corso has no such record, just one indicating he did 9 years honorably as a Radarman 1st Class in the U.S. Navy. Had he actually been a Marine with service in Vietnam, that would have been evidenced in a DD214, but the fact remains that one does not exist for that service, indicating that classified duties or not, it never happened. I know a few SEALS who despite service in Afghanistan and Iraq still have completion of the Naval Special Warfare School listed on their records… it’s not classified to BE special forces, but what they do certainly is, in most cases.
Finnan’s claims are just so out in deep space that I think Voyager 1 and 2 haven’t even located them yet. There is no way that children were kidnapped and programmed to conduct combat operations in a foreign country and then “dumped off” in society again as seamlessly as he claims. Not to mention, Finnan’s own brother appeared on a different blog verifying that he never left home or the country during the years he claimed to be overseas, and photos of him with his family during those years were also found. In his case it’s more than likely a shot at fame with his poorly written book combined with a mild mental illness.
Bottom line: They are frauds. The extremely basic research required to prove it is so obvious I am surprised an Electronics Engineer couldn’t figure it out…
I am a support guy that have worked with all kind of SOF teams, units and Task Force. We have what we call White Dets that work with what is called SOTF Special Operations Task Force or Joint anyway the work for the area special operations command who supports the regular force commanders with special operations work. Then you have what is called Black Dets that work for Joint Special Operations command and all operations are what you would call black or Top Secret in Nature and you will have all type of operators and support personnel and you have every Alpha Bet soup you can think of. Here is the kicker all personnel are tracked they are just keep Top Secret however on the personnel record it will have a Task Force Number and Name just not what type of operations they are doing. Awards will be classified but they give a generic award saying he received a certain award lets say Silver Star the Task Force Name and a little write up not saying much would be on the award they can not say what they did but were on a Task Force and did a good job. Also it would be on the dd214 received Silver Star just not for what.
All personnel are what you call read in on operation or program for the Black dets and will sign a non-discloser statement saying you will not talk about what you saw did and were you where. These statements are usually 25 years can be longer but 25 is norm. I signed two one was back in 1991 and was for Desert Storm and it just went in the clear this month and then I signed anther one for a JSOC mission in 2011-12 and that will be free in 2036 My record was not sealed and names of task force are in it just what we did is blacked out on my evaluations and on DD214 Awarded what ever nothing about it just that you received the award.
Hi, I have a little more experience with looking into the backgrounds of Duncan O Finioan and Dave Corso. I started researching these men in 2007 during their interviews with Kerry Cassidy on the project Camelot website. I am a private investigator who has researched cases of missing children and REAL mind control survivors. Yes this really happens. I used to communicate with Duncan and Dave regularly for years via email and online chat rooms they frequented trying to get a bead on them and to feel them out to see if they are frauds or real mind control survivors. I am still not 100% convinced that they are frauds btu it seems that they possibly are. Both of these men have a very excellent knowledge of how mind control conditioning works and the techniques they described are accurate . I have talked to real survivors who have similar experiences .Most ordinary people with no experience in mind control programming dont know these things. I have noticed on Duncans website that he had a picture of a very young teenager in full combat gear from the Vietnam war era that he claimed was him in the 1970s . After researching this image I found that this picture is actually a 17 year old Marine taken during the landing at Da Nang in 1965 named Private Coogin. This is a photo that was published in Life magazine Its strange because Duncan never claimed to be in the military only a civilian survivor of a mind control project with the US government. Why is he posting a picture of a Marine who is clearly not him on his website claiming its him? I looked into Duncans family and they still live in the Nicholasville ,Inez area of Kentucky his brother runs a towing company his uncles are building contractors etc and they seem like ordinary rednecks from Kentucky ( no offense to any Kentuckians) They do not have the secretive CIA background .Duncans father was a cop for many years. Dave Corso actually was telling the truth in his interviews He said ” I was a radar man on several ships then I was assigned to a swift boat squadron in Vietnam.” I found Daves DD 214 military records and this is 100% correct Dave was a radar man on 2 or 3 destroyers in the late 50s and early 60s then he was in a swiftboat squadron in Vietnam ( sorry i cant pronounce the Vietnamese port) but this is the correct town that he mentions in his interviews .Dave however i do not believe he was “the best Marine Corp sniper in VIetnam as he and others said. That would be Carlos Hathcock . I had a chance to ask Dave about a couple of well documented true proven cases of mind control survivors that has not been in the media and Dave said he was “very familiar with all of that mess” I cant tell if these guys are just well informed frauds or if they just made up some things in their past and are real survivors. One very odd thing i discovered is the mysterious visitor and friend of his father an ex green beret named “Paul Preston” that Duncan talked about in his interview with Kerry Cassidy.It turns out that Paul Preston is a real person a real Vietnam veteran green beret who after the war was Scientology cult leader L Ron Hubbards body guard and handler for the CIA . Im not making this up you can read about him in biographies about L Ron Hubbard. Weird Weird and more weird. I mentioned this to Duncan and he had no idea who Paul was and was very thankful wanting to know more about him. Im very confused and still confused about these guys .His father was friends with Paul Preston ???????

This photo of a young Marine was on his old website for years duncanofinioan.com but I think he changed his website. This picture was in the upper left corner of his website as a collage of pictures of him from the past .Its a semi famous life magazine phot of a very young Marine taken at the landings in Da Nang in 1965 when the first large group of American soldiers arrived in Vietnam. This Marine looks like hes about 15 years old

While I find most of what he talks about to be utter bullshit, there is some truth to his….uh…..statements. My question to this site is, being that Fannin/.O’Finioan states multi times he was never in the military, why are you wasting time talking about him on this great site?

The Duncan O’Finioan Fraud
There is a self-proclaimed super soldier who goes by the name Duncan O’Finioan. His real name is Bobby Joe Fannin. He has created many enemies and burned many bridges in the alternative media community, mostly over his threats against people who criticize him or threaten to expose his lies and con game.
First, he has attacked Kerry Cassidy ruthlessly, the woman who gave him a platform to spread his fictional story of black projects and assassinations. Probably because Kerry Cassidy found out the truth about him and David Corso, that the two conspired to bring a bogus story to her that they were both black ops guys, Duncan starting when he was just a tween with super psychic powers.
It was all a lark, but what Duncan did not figure was the amount of attention he would get from the alternative media and New Age and conspiracy community. He liked the attention, something he had never had before in his life. People listened to and believed him and it got to his head. Through this, he met Miranda Kelly (also a fake name) through Aaron McCollum (we will get to him) and they created a fictional past together to pull a further con game. When Jesse Ventura interviewed Duncan on his show, Duncan’s ego was further inflated. It was obvious that everything in the show was scripted and fake: the clandestine meeting in a parking garage and Dave Corso in a white van that didn’t even belong to him.
It was all about a book Duncan had written that he wanted to turn into a series, Innocence Turned Deadly. Instead of calling it fiction, he thought he might make bigger money if he claimed it to be autobiographical. Every publisher he submitted the novel to rejected it and he had to resort to self-publication. It is a barely literate or readable tale of hackneyed thriller genre stuff, much stolen from Chuck Norris and Stu Segall movies. (Duncan also claimed he trained Chuck Norris how to kickbox at a CIA facility!) It is also quite obviously influenced by the thriller crime novels of Andrew Vachss.
Has Duncan lived this lie so long now that he might believe it is all true? Perhaps. How can be back down and disappoint those who follow him? They would realize what a fraud he is and turn against him.
Many have uncovered his con game, from the Former White Hat guy (we will get to him in a later post), to researcher Anthony Forewood, to James Rink, Aaron McCollum and Anya Briggs. Duncan has threatened the lives of all these people if they speak about it. He turned against Kerry Cassidy when she realized he had made it all up for attention and an attempt to get book and movie deals.
But is there more to Duncan’s lies than attention? Is he being used by the black ops community? Some are claiming he had a hand in recent black operations but we do not believe it. The question must be asked: if his story is true, why would the black ops agencies allow him to run around talking about it and giving them a bad name? Is he not exposing highly safeguarded secrets? Why have they not terminated him?
One source tells us, “The fellahs at Langley get a good laugh when they read about him. His blogs are printed out and posted by the water cooler for a daily chuckle. He is not considered a threat but is entertainment, because he has no connection to The Farm or any project.”
Is it possible Duncan is just mentally ill and living inside his own delusion?
