He dresses up in a Marine RECON uniform and some veterans asked us to look into his military background.
BACKGROUND AND CLAIMS
Brandon Michael Davis was spotted at a wedding wearing a US Marine Corps dress uniform.
His uniform displayed Sergeant stripes (E-5) as well as a “scuba bubble” and jump wings designating him as USMC Reconnaissance. In fact, there are reports that Davis had claimed he was in Force Recon. He states that he was Recon in his LinkedIn profile.
In the below photo, which shows a clearer picture of his medals, Davis has a Bronze Star with what appears to be a “V” for valor, a Combat Action Ribbon (CAR) with a Star to designate two awards (i.e. a “CAR with a Star”) and a Purple Heart with a designation of a second award.
There are credible reports that claim that Davis is well known to several businesses in the Austin Texas area whom are convinced of his veteran status as a highly decorated Marine.
Several veterans were highly skeptical of Davis based on some inconsistencies and inquired into his background.

FOIA RESULTS – SELECTED
As it turns out, Brandon M. Davis did serve in the US Marine Corps…
… for seven months of active duty, so he was a Marine.
A few short years later, he enlisted in the US Navy…
… and that enlistment lasted less than two years.
There were no overseas assignments in either of Davis’ enlistments in the USMC or USN. This casts doubt that he was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon twice, nor the Bronze Star with a “V” for valor since these are ribbons awarded for actions as a result of armed conflict. Although it is conceivable that Davis could have been awarded the Purple Heart for assignment in the United States, his records do not support his claim of a Purple Heart award, let alone two. Davis’ records do not list any Combat Action Ribbons or Bronze Star.
In addition to the FOIA request and results, nobody in the US Marine Corps Recon community seems to know him. They state that he would not have a scuba bubble. Instead he would have a Combat dive bubble with his claimed years of service. They also point out that “his stack is all messed up.”

SUMMARY AND DISCUSSION
ENLISTMENTS
Brandon Michael Davis had enlistments in both the US Marine Corps and the US Navy. The length of each of those enlistments is interesting – the US Marines being about seven (7) months and the US Navy lasting just under two years (24 months). Since these are not standard lengths for enlistments, there would have been circumstances that would have cut them short. A medical condition or family hardship is a possibility for why he was discharged early from the USMC, but he would have had to overcome each and be cleared prior to joining the Navy.
As far as the Navy, he seemed to have a nice assignment in DC, but he was a non-rate which means he did not have a specialty such as Boatswain’s Mate, Electronics Technician, Yeoman, Machinist’s Mate or Master-at-Arms. He would have had to struck for a rating before becoming a Petty Officer Third Class (E-4). Perhaps he had an issue with striking for a rating, there was a hardship, medical or some issue with his next duty assignment.
In any case, less than two years is not normal.
Davis’ US Navy DD-214 did not list his prior service with the US Marine Corps. Nor did it mention his sharpshooter badge. It is plausible that he got kicked out of the USMC, never told the US Navy when he joined up and it all caught up to him and then was booted from the Navy. This is just speculation, but would explain all of the inconsistencies.

MEDALS
The greater concern here is the medals that Davis wears, many of which are not supported by his official service records.
The Bronze Star (with possibly a “V” for valor) is not in his service record.
Neither are two Combat Action Ribbons or two Purple Hearts. The Combat Action Ribbon and the Purple Heart claims may put Davis in direct violation of the Stolen Valor Act of 2013, especially if he has benefited from the use of those claims.

According to his official military records, Davis got out of the USMC as an E-2. He went in the US Navy and got out as an E-3. There is no official military documentation that supports the claim that he achieved the rank of Sergeant of Marines (E-5).

Frankly I’m shocked this shitbird made it through Marine Boot Camp.
I have myself examined the records you received from FOIA requests and believe that you may be drawing premature conclusions from records that are clearly incomplete and which themselves are internally inconsistent. For example, the DD 214 reports completion of schools that require a longer service period and higher rank than the form itself states BMD allegedly had. These are errors attributable to the personnel system, NOT to the service member himself. Whatever the status of the claims BMD allegedly made turns out to be (which at this point all that can be said is they may _or may not_ be true), it would be irresponsible to draw any firm conclusions from the evidence you have access to. Even in a “stolen valor” environment people are innocent until proven guilty.

So, to be clear — you are stating that Davis would not qualify for these schools with the amount of service and rank that he had? Then, if this is true it is grounds to conclude that the records are inconsistent so therefore Davis may be all he says he is? Further, if the military made errors in the schools and time in service, it is reasonable to conclude that they also missed two Purple Hearts, two Combat Action Ribbons, a Bronze Star and any overseas assignments during a time of conflict? Would you agree that this is a far stretch?
The case writeup essentially states that Davis’ claims are not supported by his official military records. What about that statement is not true, in your opinion?
This is what I see. Before 2001 to go through the MA training pipe line which is what it looks like he was doing. Before 2001 to become a MA you had to have a Navy Rate (MOS) and usually an E-5 and pass back ground and physical fitness standards then you would be approved to cross rate.
After 2001 starting 2002 the Navy opened up to recruit for the MA field. This was due to only having around 3000 trained MA’s. So the Navy started to change and bring in recruits for this. The way I see it they wanted to give him credit for his Marine training and he would therefore be qualified for some of the schools to go through the MA pipe line. It looks like something may have happen in his background check. It is also worth noting that the Navy wanted to increase it’s MA force from 3000 special law enforcement personnel to 30’000 K Force protection personnel. That being said the special Law enforcement jobs would be open to E-5 and above. The Navy requited for the lower Force Protection jobs and also had a special NEC called 9545 that is the Force protection NEC not Law enforcement. So what they did was pull any of those personnel from the fleet that had that NEC and were not in critical listed jobs and automatically cross rated them into being an MA. The critical fields that were not touched by this were SEAL’s or anyone working in NSW, EOD, Seabees and some nuclear field’s other than that the Navy cross rated everyone.
That being said, I hate to say this but the Navy was waving standards and trying to figure things out. Believe me they paid the price for doing this. It looks they caught him or found something that did not add up. .

This is a decade plus of lies by this man. He was never deployed, shot, in combat and i know this because i was either pregnant or stuck with him. 8 weeks of Recruit training at Great Lakes. He wouldn’t have had to do this if the Navy knew he was prior Marine.A Marine is already a member of the Navy. He would have been there long enough for training in his classification & uniform change. Nothing more.

There are two simple questions ask Brandon; 1, where’s your BRC certificate? 2, if you do not have your BRC certificate, what class are you in? Because there is only six a year, easily discoverable.
BRC has no record of Brandon after 2005…
No one at 1st Force Recon has any account of Brandon 1996-2008.
Let’s say the records are incorrect and Brandon was in USMC 1998-2002 he would have been a special case to be allowed into BRC as a non-Sgt. Or made rank fast and then was let in.
Why would Brandon get out after making it to E-5 Force Recon to join the Navy to become force security NEC9545 and E-3?
If he joined back into the USMC to become Recon or Force Recon it would have been 2004-2008 because he was arrested in 2008 in Round Rock for writing bad check (hints the mug shot).
There is also countless witnesses that can prove he was in central Texas 2005-2015. So either he had the best leave in military history, was AWOL, or never rejoined the USMC after the Navy.

He was in the navy longer than 2 years. I served in the ceremonial guard from 2002 to 2005 and he was there the whole time.
Then what did he do? Because he is using his Navy and Marine experience to work in the force protection or home land security world. He is also claiming he did work in the Navy as a security specialist or as you know a MA. believe it or not claiming certain schools and training in this job field will lead to grate advantages in the civilian world. So please let us know if you know what he did in the Navy. According to you he was in 3 vice 2 years not that big of a difference. If he spent those 3 years at CG than what experience does he have in Force Protection none…. So he is falsifying or exaggerating about his experience for profit this is in violation of Stolen Valor act 2013.
If the amount of time in the service was wrong on the dd214, what else could be wrong. The military isn’t known for always having it’s records in order. Stuff falls through the cracks all the time. While in the CG he was at the armory teaching firearm courses on pistol, rifle, and shotgun. If he wasn’t there he would be working over at the D.I.A. He also taught courses to the MAs or anyone else that needed to get certs or recerted through the miltary.
He was physically in Baltimore the entire time. He faked a knee injury during basic and was never able to “practice” Ceremonial guard. I am the ex wife and i was in Baltimore. He did not do any of these jobs and never once was he physically active. He faked tripping over a chair in a lobby. Stop defending this fool. Being a fake is the least of his worries. VA Disability fraud is his concern now. He’s fucked and he finally knows it.
I guess, that sounds all good and yes you are correct records are not all accurate. The big reason he is on here is because of his Marine stuff two Bronze Stars and a PH. if he got out in 1999 there is NO way he could have either of those, and you say he was with CG from 2002- 2005 so he did not receive them from the Navy. The only 2 suits on file for Brandon in Wilco, TX was a failed application for A Protective Order against his ex wife and her husband. The Certified transcript of that hearing 11/24/15 details Brandon’s continued harassment of his ex and spouse. The transcript details Brandon’s testimony he was in Marines 1996-2006. Also states all his injuries while enlisted. Brandon’s testimony has he and his lawyer refusing and objecting to answer multiple questions if he ever was in combat and if ever deployed. The transcript details BMD cross examination exposing every grievance as unfounded, lies, and more exaggeration to his phony Certified Peace Officer claims and wannabe Law Enforcement credentials.
The 2nd suit is another civil matter oddly detailed in almost exact wording of grievances for the failed Protective Order. Speaking directly with the ex-wife’s family attorney, the unscheduled suit was filed merely as intimidation with an additional $100k rewarded in punitive damages. The family is not swayed by the frivolous filing.
The family will in fact use this gracious misstep of the civil suit to counter which is ironically in same court 2 as judge who shot down Protective Order. This will allow the platform The Military and Veteran Community needs to properly alert Austin community.

A couple of days back I spent several hours in person with Brandon Michael Davis. During that time I was able to examine the contents of a binder he had compiled containing copies of most of the military records several of you here claim don’t exist. I have seen and read copies of efficiency reports, certificates, letters from those he served with and other materials that show he was indeed a Force Reconnaissance Marine. I have been able to examine other documents that show that fragments of his personnel files that have been made public on the Internet are indeed seriously incomplete. Not having the material here in front of me, I can’t attest to whether every accusation made against him here is false. But I can say that _many_ of these accusations about so-called “stolen valor” are indeed false, and I suspect that most or all of them are. You are accusing him of things that he is not guilty of. You can do whatever you want with this information, but if I were in your shoes I would seriously rethink what you are saying here.
Totally understand why they can’t find everything. My son was in Iraq during the invasion but someone failed to check the box on his dd214 and he had to wait over 5 yrs to get help for his PTSD.

I was curious if you truly posted this? Because, this would make force recon association incorrect, the FBI, Texas PDS, POW Network, Senior Chief (Seal) Don Shipley, myself and a dozen others who have spend countless hours in investigating all wrong. Fact checking, double confirmation and cross checking each others work before and after military phony posting. I can also provide you documentation from open records where Brandon made his claims of being 1st Force Recon Marine (which everyone above confirmed) he was never assigned to as a 0321 or any other duty assignment at 1st, 2nd or any Force Recon command, and claimed of being a interrogator where he said under oath he was trained in the technique “playing Nazi” the Human Intelligence and Counter Intelligence command both confirmed he had never attended the school.
I believe I also provide you a email from Vice Admiral Wells who stated he was never associated with Brandon or his company, the same with Capt McCort, who you can contact first hand yourself with the contact info I emailed you.
With the amount of evidence stacked against Brandon making false claim for federal and state benefits, grants or loans, the DOJ and DPS will be prosecuting.
I’m responding to your post because if this isn’t you but Brandon posing as you. Like he did making claims on your behalf like he did at Caligo Belli, where he stated to all staff who had TS-SCI that your company Remote Viewing would be sponsoring clearances, which turned out to be a lie. It had been confirmed by the DOJ, that Brandon never worked at the CIA in CO or any other position or at DIA in a Direction Action position, he was a basic firearms instructor for deploying personnel.

Austin, it was indeed me who posted those comments and not (as certain apparent lunatics on this page with complete lack of foundation concluded) Brandon Michael. It appears that had they continued their education beyond the fourth grade they might actually have been able to recognize the difference in writing style. I did receive the information you sent. At this point I can’t tell you how to reconcile what you provided me with the documents presented to me by Brandon Michael last week, which clearly indicated Force Recon training and assignment experience (among numerous other things). It was certainly a much larger amount of documentation than I had seen when I still lived in Austin (but then, none of this was an issue back then), I am sure it would be helpful if you could look at the documents, too, but I’m guessing that given your relationship with Brandon Michael that would not be in the cards.
All I can say if it’s a copy I’m sure it was Travis’s cert Brandon faked… Because all he had to provide was a simple BRC cert, Jump Cert, Dive Cert, etc. but if he didn’t have that when we first confronted him was provide a date. Just a simple year because there is only 6 classes a year. We must all be wrong? I have no relationship with other personnel on here but to tell you I understand there pain and heartache. Concrete and verifiable evidence would have made all this go away long ago, but Brandon lacks the core value he was training in the Navy when they made him go through basic training after his so call Force Recon Marine training. Brandon is scheduled to turn himself over to Wilco Sheriffs at the jail tomorrow to start his first weekend of 180 day 36 month probated sentence for being in contempt. In other words, you can’t personally modify a court ordered child custody order by holding the child hostage for over 3 months and expect that to go well for you. It’s highly frowned upon and now has cost him his freedom, $3500 fine, and custody of his son. A fool and his child have just parted. Before the fool could even check in for his 1st night of cement stay action he proceeded to violate probation 2x. Update: 6/7/16 Enforcement Hearing
Brandon is scheduled to turn himself over to Wilco Sheriffs at the jail tomorrow to start his first weekend of 180 day 36 month probated sentence for being in contempt. In other words, you can’t personally modify a court ordered child custody order by holding the child hostage for over 3 months and expect that to go well for you. It’s highly frowned upon and now has cost him his freedom, $3500 fine, and custody of his son. A fool and his child have just parted. Before the fool could even check in for his 1st night of cement stay action he proceeded to violate probation 2x. BMD out of sickness or in pure rage threatened to kill or have killed Judge McMaster, ex wife, myself and our attorney by the time he has to turn himself over Friday. I am also in possession of the copy & paste, manual redacted DD214’s you’ve submitted as evidence in your civil suit set January 2017. More bad news for you Davis. You or your attorneys made the mistake of submitting your actual DD214 and Marine separation papers not redacted into potential pool of evidence. I will assume it was a costly mistake or your legal team is sabotaging your scam once they figured you were full of lies.
More bad news. I see clearly the judge handling both your frivolous civil suit and family suit scams is a victim of yours now too. From the transcripts and speaking with your personal entourage present for last hearing, you’ve got him believing you’re the victim to a “elaborate smoke screen” . Their tone has changed from an honorable deed to protect a hometown military veteran to now a desperate attempt to save whats left of your livelihood. Almost a pleading to come to court to denounce the allegations against you and show support for you as a father and military career. I wanted to point out some basic problem solving concerns about your serious issue here. You filed the lawsuit of slander/defamation against your ex wife and hoping her husband is seen as an “agent” for your legal judgement. You’re obligated to prove you’re who you say you’re. You should be forthcoming in providing a DD214 not redacted or altered. January 12th a hearing scheduled for you to sign releases to clear your name. Why on Earth would you resist efforts to clear your name if youre not lying or a liar. Brandon the Texas Workforce Commission release filed with Wilco court #2 would confirm all your employment with Time Warner Cable, gas stations, Rudy’s bbq and the car lot you filed unemployment benefits from. You cant be over seas receiving purple hearts and other valor if youre living in Austin, TX working for these employers. Thats a serious problem for your case. There’s a process in hanging you thoroughly as well as a thorough process in proving you’re legitimacy. The truth about you and your scam is a formality.

This suit and the family suits filed were desperate acts of intimidation and retaliation to silence your ex wife and her families efforts to expose you as the fraud and serial abuser you’re clearly to be.
