Oscar Wilson had an outstanding enlistment within the Marine Corps. He did serve in Vietnam with one of the most famous Marine Corps Battalions ,1/9 ( The walking Dead ) He does have a Combat Action Ribbon and participated in a couple major operations in RVN. He was discharged in 1972 as a Cpl. ( E-4 )

But that wasn’t good enough for Oscar. Back on the block, He wants to claim he served with 3rd Recon in Vietnam. He also wants to claim that he was wounded in Country. He then claims that he was discharged in 1974 as a SSgt ( E-6 ). He also wants to claim that he enlisted into the US Army after serving in the Marines and became a Ranger. We are still waiting on his Army FOIA. But checking with Ranger Headquarters at Ft. Benning. Oscar Wilson does not have a Ranger Class Number.

His Army FOIA has returned. He spent approximately eight years in the US Army under the MOS of 11c ( Indirect Infantryman ) Discharged as a Sgt ( E-5 ) . He is not a Tabbed Ranger.

Why would you smear mud on an outstanding tour of duty?

  2. […] folks at Military Phonies sent us their work on this Oscar Wilson fellow. They wrote about him in May, but they were waiting […]
