So here is what we have.

Carroll A. Durham, Sergeant with the U.S. Army

Served his country from 1968 to 1970, active duty

1970 to 1974, reserves.

Galiantly fought in the Vietnam war,

as he depicts in his book

“The Forgotten Soldier”.

Earned himself 3 Bronze Stars.

See look at this pic for yourself.

“His bling (can’t call them anything BUT, in this case)

is seriously messed up here.

You DON’T wear more than 1 award unless regulations state otherwise.

In this case, this POSer has THREE *count them*

things on his ASU Dress Uniform. He’s full of Stolen Valor.”

As quoted by a respected individual (Cleaned up a bit)

but none-the-less someone that knows

what he sees is BS!

Soooo many people are calling BS. We do not doubt his service,

we ARE doubting his awards. And as y’all know, in here that is called

STOLEN VALOR!!!!!!! POSer!

Even some of the book reviews by MILITARY PEERS and COLLEGE KIDS from Amazon and

Barnes & Noble are not favorable.

Here is a quote taken from

Wikipedia.org:

“The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 (Pub.L. 113–12H.R. 258)

is a United States federal law that was passed

by the 113th United States Congress.

The law amends the federal criminal code

to make it a crime for a person to fraudulently claim

having received any of a series of particular military decorations

with the intention of obtaining money, property, or other

tangible benefit from convincing someone that he or she

rightfully did receive that award”

So wouldn’t selling your book

while wearing medals that you

did not rightfully earn be considered

“STOLEN VALOR”???

  1. Mark Lauer says:

I guess those three bronze service stars on his Vietnam Service Medal translate into three Bronze Star Medals in his book.

  2. Michael says:

In his bio on Amason, Durham claims to have been awarded four Bronze Stars. From Amamzon: “Carroll received 4 Bronze Stars and a host of other heroic medals. He received more Bronze Stars than a lot of the current Generals in the United States army including General Pratreaus.” After reading his bio I can safely say that Durham’s arrogance is only exceeded by his idiocy.
