Claiming Delta Force Operator with deployments to Panama , Operation Desert Shield/Storm , Mogadishu Somalia , Colombia and Iraq.
His FOIA and dd-214 do not give him credit for deploying to all of these conflicts. He has no campgain medals for Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Plus he only has one Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. Where he should have at least three.
Last but not least. He was never a Delta Force Operator. He was assigned to them as support. Having the PMOS of 29W4P CE Maintenance Chief.

Hello I have a question here my screen name TAH is skippy from looking at his paper work and all he was in Somalia, wether his story’s abut being fired on are true or not to me is not a big issue he was there pulling guard a few people I’ve spoken to have said every body by the end was taking fire also he did complete ranger ???? It looks so. and it looks like he was in special ops ??? Or am I not reading this right ???? He has the jumps even halo free fall. so if there is a issue, why are we not doing this off line we police our own right from what I can understand he was called out about something about a business???? From looking at everything here it looks like he may be able to back up his story. LMAO !!!!!! Please show me what im missing here I’m on my I pad and the screen is a little funny

Skippy, Exactly. Give me a beak please. I thought this blog was to expose dudes who say they are Navy Seals to pick up girls when they are actually hamburger flippers.
I am a former journalist with the CBS affiliate in Fort Myers just north of where Brian has his company. I interviewed and filmed a 3 hour presentation he gave on “Black Hawk Down” a few years ago. In all accounts he spoke of his experience as a member and Signal Corps operator in SFOD-DELTA. He gave 1000% credit to the other guys he knew and never claimed anything other than having a commanding overview through the radios. The MOS Service Records here seem to support everything. Later, He told us he was a civi contractor in Iraq, retired at that time. When I heard about this smear campaign I could not believe it as I was donating my time for vets who had volunteered, like him while other vets were spending all their time trying to hurt other Americans. The documents here are way beyond what I could have secured or wanted too, but it shows his record – very professional from what I see. A Delta guy repairing an encrypted radio system? All kinds of quals. That’s pretty impressive to me. Hey and he can pass Army Ranger and Delta squadron selection and sling a weapon with Marksmanship skill. In my experience with Brian he would kill me if he knew I was even writing about this…I hope he doesn’t find out.
As an example of how something innocuous printed or filmed can be used against someone, a former employee took a rough cut of the film where I used the title “Delta Operator”. They then sent it to a bunch of mil people as an example of deception about his credentials. Listen, First it was my mistake which was later corrected and second, this was a private link that was sent out only to his company. Journalists have made mistakes in titles. “Operator” was a little misunderstood until someone explained it. A signal guy is not an operator. So- some of the printed stuff is the reporters fault – Delta operator versus Delta Signal man. We just didn’t know the diff until someone is going to be put through the wringer, sheesh. I suspect there is some sort of personal smear campaign going on here. Don’t accept the hype. Read the MOS.

He was support assigned to Delta. But he was no operator. Nor did he deploy to all the combat zones that he has listed. He did have an impressive career in the Army. But he pissed it all away with his embellishments. You clowns may not know the difference. But he does.Bottom line. He was caught lying and has been exposed.Your excuses for his actions have no merits here.
As far as I know, Radio Men. (or repair men) known as Signal Corps, go through the same rigorous Ranger selection any any follow on recruitment, selection, and assignment to the top secret SOF-D Delta selection . Those radio men who support the command element as an integral part of the team and their right hand men as non-commissioned officers. They deploy and assist the teams with Comms, a crucial role in battle. Delta is a secret unit with members taking an oath.. Most are also tight lipped to the death. Any mention of “operator” I’ve ever seen in this regard was purely the mistake of the writer being uninformed. A radio dude is not an operator, in SOF, (As I have learned by being called on this) but a “member” a core part of the team with the same core training. There is no record of any embellishment or story telling in the many hours I have on film. No mention of any medals, wounds, or anything like that. Only deferment and honor to those that served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I saw all the proof I need in names, places, ID’s and photos, flags, and friends.I only wish such venom would be unleashed on our country’s true enemies of freedom and democracy.
Mr. Beaty, I want to thank you for your post. Brian Jones is my family and I know for a fact he’s no phony. I just can’t waste my time arguing with these people. So thank you for your time.
however you want to spin it, the documents and the vetted, honorably discharged Unit members don’t lie. He didn’t through OTC, he didn’t deploy to the Gulf War, etc. Whether you like it or not, that is stolen valor. If he had honestly and accurately reported his service – which is spectacular in its own right – no one would have any problems with him. Most people that serve at all don’t accomplish 1/10th as much. But that’s not the same as being a bonafide “Operator.” That’s a cut above a support guy for the Unit. He has no one to blame for any negative fallout, but himself.
Check out a STF SGT Brian Wilson Stankovich in us army as this is a scam talked to for 2 years online sent money to customs person dealing with bringing ones belongings home. I can not find anything online about him gone to my authorities here and have been told neither him or custom guy exists. Will be contacting FBI concerning scam. .
