He was first exposed in Dec. 2011, We recieved another alert in Feb of 2015 that he is still telling the same lie.
His only active duty time was for training. He never left the CONUS during his enlistment. He was a Motor Transport Operator and Infantryman. Discharged as an ( E-3 )
Awards_claimed: He doesn’t mention awards. He spins his tale of being a Pow during desert storm. His captures repeatedly tortured him and broke his toes /ankle numerous times. He claims to be Special Forces.

Name does not ring a bell. As you know only 1/75 was involved with the first Gulf war, and I know for a fact that were no POWs. Another thing, once you leave a classified unit, your records are no longer classified, and his POW medal and PH would be open source. Sounds like he is FOS!

I am not, or have ever said anything to these reports. I want to know how you can write crap like this on these sites with out substantiated proof. I will be seeking legal advice. This should be illegal to post lies, without proof.

My husband and I used to do some work with him. We cut all ties because he was a liar, thief and would bad mouth us to customers. I never waneed my husband to work with him in the first place. I have sympathy for his family, but I won’t lose any sleep over this. It doesn’t surprise me that he lied about something like being a POW, etc. What a disgrace and slap in the face to those who really were. Just thought you guys might want to know this info. I happened to find this page when I was googling for his obit to see if it was true.

Ms. Hickman for what? I can attest to Johns lying. He was a master narrcisstic manipulator. He told me stories of camping with Boy Scout troops, living at lakes for months on end, time in the military, how his ex wives screwed him over. He was a liar and a cheat. Karma caught up with Mr. Stoneburgh and like Ms. Ledford I am so very sorry for his family, especially his children , but I haven’t lost any sleep over this.
