So what's the deal here? Is it over the rank in the picture or what?

  2. Anonymous says:

They are saying that he was never in Vietnam and that he was never in the Marines…. But kind of funny I have seen his DD214 and he goes to the VA… Someone needs to get their stories straight!

  3. Scotty H. says:

The story is straight on him. He was NEVER in RVN .He was a Basic Marine Rifleman (0311) Who was only a LCPL upon discharge after going AWOL. His TIS is from May,1976 to Apr. 1979.The only award he received while serving was the Rifleman Marksman ship badge. Nothing else.As you said. Someone does need to get their story straight. That person would be LCPL Bustamate !! ” No Glory in Stolen Valor ” !!

  4. Anonymous says:

Nobody said he wasn't a marine, that is the only truth coming out of his mouth everthing else is lies. If he wants to post his “new Revised” DD214 then that would be a federal offense(forgery) and he will go to prison(again). If you want to know the truth investigate it yourself its called the “Fredoom Of Informatiion Act” this is not about his service its about STOLEN VALOR.

  5. Brandon says:

Hey Scotty, I've got a copy of his “revised DD214”. It's laughable how many mistakes he made while forging it. I'll email a copy.

    Anon on 29 November,

DD-214s are easily forged; Office or a good old fashioned manual cut-and-paste job can embellish one well enough to fool most civilians. As for the VA, I know a guy who got an OTH discharge twenty years ago. He got his discharge upgraded and started going to the VA a couple of years ago.

DD-214s, like the Enlisted Records Brief active Army Soldiers have, are an impartial summary of a service member's service record. Awards, periods of overseas and stateside service, and admin data are among those things present on such paperwork. Citations or reason for awards are not placed on DD-214s.

I wish I had a buck for every piece of shyte I've busted since 1974 claiming they were in the Military. SMSgt M.C. McDermott (Ret)

I'm a Navy Corpsman and was stationed with the Marines 1/6 Alpha Co. and I am always busting posers. I even busted a few Marine Corps veteran POGS saying they were infantry lol. I spent my whole career with the grunts and I know a grunt when I talk to one. I love what you guys do. Keep it up. Doc out.

  10. Scotty H. says:

Get with me on Facebook @ The Fake Warrior page A 1/6 Corpsman .

  11. I appreciate people trying to protect all of us Veterans. I'm not War Hero and don't claim to be but i've deployed like the majority of veterans today and I can't stand it when people lie about their service and combat. I don't understand why you would want to lie about something like that… The infantry guys who get hit outside the wire don't do it for glory… it's insane to see what people will lie about to get some attention.

damn straight S.O.B earned the title then tarnished it, embellished it and basically shit on it. He doesn't deserve respect, VA bennies or another damn thing from honorable vets. Semper Fi

  13. Anonymous says:

Nice I know a few people that would like to see this guy burn… Living a lie ALWAYS catches up… Especially in the MC world!

  14. Anonymous says:

its about almost everything in the picture.

  15. Anonymous says:

To all of you whom have put your time in the Service I would like to say Thank You for your service. As for this “moron” sorry but I can not understand why the hell someone would try to pull crap like this. All knowing that it will checked into & exposed at some time or another.

    Shame shame shame .

  17. gene flegal says:

I'm nobody. But we have had a lot of my family in the service some over 20 years..But don't claim to be something your not and don't take the credit from the Men that have earn it. I hope he gets what he deserve from the service…NOTHING….To many Good Men Out There. And Thank You To All That Serve

  18. SFC/E-7 CARLOS SANCHEZ (RET) says:

He used a forged document to obtained VA benefits he would have not gotten due to his Bad Conduct/Dishonorable Discharge. This is a felony in the 3rd Degree, when you try to used the Stolen Valor Act, to obtained monetary benefit. He should be seeing the FBI soon, once VA calculates how much he scam. The rest is his dignity and honor, if he has any.

Look at his rank in the pictures of him in the BDUs. Does it look like the rockers on his SSG rank are drawn in?

  20. Anonymous says:

In the same photo with the drawn in rank of SSgt(E-6)what is that thing on his head? No TRUE Marine would even put that on his grape.

  21. So many things…this guy either just doesn't care or is stupid enough to think no one will notice all the backwards crap.

  22. It's not about whether he served. It's about him lying about the terms of his service. It's about him walking around with medals on his chest that he didn't earn, and claiming to have done things his military service records contradict based on dates of service. He was also court-martialed, whic he freely admits himself. He shouldn't even be wearing a uniform.

  23. Anonymous says:

Did anybody else notice that he was rocking a 1%er diamond on his cut in one of the photos? Gypsy MC International is an AMA club.

tolen Valor will get you made fun of on the internet, but posing as a 1%er will get you murdered by whoever is the local dominant 1% club.

A person as this, is one without honor! My fallen friends left behind in Republic of South Vietnam, turn in their graves! He should do the right thing and reimburse the VA for what he stole. He should then give a Public Regress for harming those, who fought and/or died for this great Country. Always remember, it is the young men and women who suffer and go into harms way in a War. We should not be having Wars, but working together? Considering Americans now have grown up children with Vietnamese blood.

  25. Anonymous says:

I have seen lots of FAKE DD214's, and 2-1 Files…So because he produced one at the VA, he's Legit? Me thinks not…Many people forge them for Benifits, and do to the overwhemling Numbers of people submitting them, they don't have time at the DMV VA and other agencies to investigate all of the 214's, he himself atmitted that they took away his benifits after the VA investigated his Records…That should be Proof…there is no question to as if he served..He did, but serving in non War Time or Serving in Combat are two Totally different Animals…

At a presidential caucus one day in 1996, we met a fellow with a “Vietnam” baseball cap on. He looked young but insisted he'd been there. We got to talking and he dropped that he was born in '58. Oops! The last 17 yr. old Marine off the rooftop of the Embassy, assuming he got there with no Basic or AIT, would have to have been born in '58. He pronounced Bien Hoa as Bee-in Ho-wah. That was a new one on me. At least he didn't claim a BS or PH. If everyone who said they were there really was, the US population would have dropped for lack of any males in-country(US). signed- 2 tours w/ a silver star on my VSM (legit.)

This POS still claims awards he never earned despite being outed on TV, check out the video:https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=363647030402472&l=5881492428339072604
